Fees & getting paid

How the money splits on every sale

Exactly who pays what, with a real example.

A $100 credit card sale

  • Shelf price: $100.00
  • Card line added for the customer (3% cap): $3.00
  • Customer pays: $103.00
  • Platform fee, 1% of the sale, taken out of the sale: $1.00
  • Card processing paid out of the card line
  • You keep close to your full $100 ticket

The same $100 on debit

Debit can't be surcharged. The customer pays $100.00 and the processing cost comes out of your side, like a normal register.

The same $100 in cash

Customer pays $100.00. No card cost, and the 1% platform fee applies to card sales only.

Where you see this live

The register shows the split on every ticket before you charge, and Sales → Financials totals it up for any date range.
