Have these ready
- Legal business name and address (what's on your tax paperwork)
- EIN, or your SSN if you're a sole proprietor
- Bank routing and account number
- A photo ID for the owner
Doing it
Go to Get paid and press Start payout setup. It opens in a new tab — that's on purpose, the bank verification screens refuse to load inside another page.
After you submit
You'll see "Details submitted" while it's reviewed. That's normal and usually clears within a day or two. The indicators turn green on their own.
Why they ask all this
Federal know-your-customer rules apply to anyone moving money. Everyone answers the same questions.
