Pairing your reader and fixing connection drops

Pairing

1. Charge the reader fully before the first pairing.
2. Open Hardware and press Pair reader.
3. Hold the reader button until the light blinks.
4. Pick it from the list.

When it drops mid-day

In order, this fixes it almost every time:

1. Put the reader on the charger for a minute.
2. Reload the register page.
3. Hold the reader power button 10 seconds and let it restart.
4. Unpair and pair again from Hardware.

Keeping it happy

• Same wifi network as the tablet
• Within about 30 feet
• Charged overnight, every night
