Products that already have a barcode
Scan the package into the barcode field when you add the product. Done. From then on, scanning it at the register adds it to the ticket.
Products with no barcode
Baked goods, crafts, bulk items, services. Tap Make one on the product and we generate a proper EAN-13 barcode in the "store use" range — a block of numbers set aside for exactly this, so it can never collide with a real retail product.
Doing them all at once
On Catalog, use Make barcodes to give every product that's missing one its own code.
Printing labels
Go to Print labels, pick your products and how many of each, and choose:
- Avery 5160 sheets — 30 labels per page on a regular printer
- 2" x 1" thermal — for a label printer
Print at 100% scale, no "fit to page", or the scanner may not read them.
